| Honda Chopper This model kit was included in the MPC 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo kit (and perhaps a few others over the years). There was a nice motorcycle trailer also included. This models was sourced from an eBay seller who was selling just the motorcycle and trailer. It uses the same Honda inline four engine used in the MPC Trick Trikes. Base Kit(s): MPC 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo (kit number 967M) Finished: Nov 2025 Modifications/Additions: - brake cable and rear brake caliper (scratchbuilt) - throttle and clutch cables - headlight and taillight from parts box - speedometer from Maisto diecast - spark plugs and wiring from Greg’s Scale Model Accessories (Ted’s Modeling Marketplace) - oil lines from 0.8 mm (0.031”) diameter cable from Tamiya, with the connection points from aluminum wire - exhaust pipe from 1.5 mm (0.060”) diameter aluminum wire used for bonsai trees - scratchbuilt muffler - scratchbuilt front forks and triple trees (styrene and aluminum rod) - front wheel is a 0.71" OD wire wheel from minicurt8zing, rear wheel is front wheel from the kit - custom printed license plate - paint on main parts is Tamiya LP-50, airbrushed, Tamiya LP-38 flat aluminum on engine block, Alclad gold titanium on engine covers Click on Thumbnail to see detailed image.
