| Surfite (Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth) - 1964 This model will be one of a collection of Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth cars and motorcycles. The kit came with a Tiki hut that will eventually be completed. The car was powered by a Mini Cooper engine, making it front wheel drive. The car appeared briefly in the move "Beach Blanket Bingo". Base Kit(s): Revell Surfite with Tiki Hut (kit number 1240) Finished: October 2025 Modifications/Additions: - Poseable steering - Aftermarket gauges, covered with UV clear resin - Adhesive black felt for interior floor - Spark plug wiring added - Opened up slots in front bumper area - Exhaust pipe replaced with stainless steel tubing - Stripes on surfboard are a combination of decals and masking - Paint is Tamiya lemon yellow on body, chrome yellow on surfboard Click on Thumbnail to see detailed image.
